Warranty Information

1. Standard Warranty

We stand by the quality of our used mechanical, body, and electrical parts. All parts sold by Port Perry Auto Wreckers include a 30-day warranty, effective from the date of purchase.

• Inspection Requirements: Customers are encouraged to inspect parts upon delivery to confirm quality and compatibility.
• Replacement Guarantee: In the unlikely event of a defect, we will replace the part. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll issue a full refund.
• Warranty Exclusions: Improper installation, misuse, or operation without necessary fluids as per manufacturer guidelines will void the warranty.

Note: Dismantling any parts of the engine or transmission voids the warranty.

2. Engine and Transmission Warranty

• Engines and transmissions are sold as assemblies, including the block, cylinder head, valve train, and transmission housing.

• Accessories like fuel pumps or water pumps are provided for convenience but are not covered under the warranty.

• To validate the warranty, engines and transmissions must be installed by a licensed mechanic. It is mandatory to replace filters, seals, and thermostats during installation.

3. Drivetrain Warranty

• Coverage includes components like transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases.
• Proper installation by a licensed mechanic and use of fresh fluids are required to maintain the warranty.

4. General Terms

• 30-Day Warranty on Parts: All parts are covered by a 30-day warranty, applicable only to the parts themselves. Labour warranty is not included for any parts. This warranty applies exclusively to purchases accompanied by an official invoice and does not extend to private sales.
• A 25% restocking fee applies to the return of non-defective parts.
• Electronic components may require reprogramming by a certified professional at the buyer’s expense.
